GILTS has no accounts and no analytics. This policy covers the small amount of data the site handles, and where that data stays.

What you enter

GILTS asks for an investment size, a tax band and your other savings income. It also remembers the gilts you mark as favourites, your saved views and your column layout. Your browser keeps all of it in local storage on your device. The site sends none of it to a server, and it keeps no database of users.

What the site loads

Your browser loads the page files and requests the current gilt snapshot from this site's read-only data endpoint. Fonts load from the same site. GILTS loads no third-party scripts, advertising tags, analytics or tracking pixels.

Gilt data and its sources

The pipeline collects reference data from the UK Debt Management Office (DMO) and market prices from dividenddata.co.uk before it publishes the snapshot to Turso Cloud. The Pages Function reads that public dataset and caches it. Those requests come from the pipeline and the edge function, not from your browser, so neither source sees your visit or your settings.

Hosting

The site is served from Cloudflare Pages, and the data endpoint runs as a Pages Function. The host can record standard access logs, such as your IP address and the file requested. GILTS does not combine those logs with your settings, and it has no account to link them to.

Your rights

UK data protection law gives you the right to see, correct and erase your personal data. GILTS holds no personal data in its gilt database, so there is nothing to request or erase. To remove the settings on your device, clear site data for this site in your browser.
